Biography
Ms. Miller is a member of the Matrimonial and Family Law practice
group, concentrating on matrimonial, family law, domestic relations
and mediation/collaboration matters. The matters addressed by Ms.
Miller range from simple, uncontested divorce proceedings to complicated and
complex financial and child custody negotiations. She also advises and assists clients in matters
of domestic disputes. Ms. Miller represents individuals in
divorce, support and Family Court proceedings.
Ms. Miller mediates matrimonial and family law matters
and is certified as a collaborative lawyer. She is routinely
appointed by the New York State Supreme and/or Family Court as a Law Guardian
to represent children when they are the subject of a family court proceeding. Ms. Miller is also frequently appointed by the New York Surrogate’s Court as Law Guardian
to represent incapacitated persons and in probate proceedings
to represent estate interests.
Ms. Miller formerly practiced with the law firm
Miller & Bermel. She also served as an Assistant County
Attorney in Westchester County and as an Adjunct
Law Secretary to the Hon. Joseph F. Gagliardi.
