Biography

Mr. Clifford is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Tax Certiorari practice groups. He specializes in complex commercial and real estate litigation, appeals, eminent domain and tax certiorari proceedings. Mr. Clifford represents corporations in connection with complex business disputes as well as municipalities and property owners in connection with eminent domain and tax certiorari issues.

Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Clifford was a trial attorney in the Land Acquisition Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the United States Department of Justice. He represented the United States in condemnation proceedings before U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Clifford also served as law clerk for the Honorable Bohdan A. Futey on the U. S. Court of Federal Claims.
